Primary colors and a nicely proportioned wave motif make this laundromat seem as fun as a carnival. Where's the guy who falls in the drink when you hit the target?
WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS LAUNDRYMAT- THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND NASTY.
I live right above this laundrymat on 7th Avenue between Windsor and Propect Avenue. I have been doing my laundry here for about nine months, ever since I moved in. A few months ago, I started dropping my laundry off to have them do it. This is what happened:
Ever since I started having them do my laundry, the older, Russian woman with the dyed blond hair (not the grey haired one who is nice) would purposefully laugh at me to my face and talk in Russian with her coworkers. I always suspected she was saying nasty things, but I didn't care because the laundrymat is right downstairs from my apartment and really convenient, thus worth weathering any imperfections.
Yesterday, I picked my laundry up from them, and I didn't have time to go through it until this morning. What I found were large, brown stains covering every, single article of my clothing and bedding (whites), which were clearly not there before. I brought the bag downstairs to show the blond woman what had happened, and she accused me of filling a bag with dirty laundry (used the word "kaka" to imply that I had used the bathroom all over everything). She also smiled and winked at her coworker, who pretended she never remembered my picking or dropping the laundry off. I don't have my receipt, so there's nothing I can do except for write here about what's happened. I am in tears. I have probably lost close to $1000 in damaged clothing.
